1. Switch out the broth for something healthier

Instead of using the flavor packet, mix in a spoonful of miso paste with the water for a more tasty and healthy bowl of ramen.

2. Crack an egg in it

For a different taste to your ramen add a boiled, scrambled, fried egg, or however you want it, to your bowl of ramen after it is cooked. Or even crack an egg in the broth and let it cook. Even add other spices such as chili or garlic powder to add more flavor

3. Add some chicken or beef

Thinly slice some meat into the noodles after they are cooked.

4. Add some cheese

Shred some cheese into the noodles and add some other spices to enhance the flavor of the ramen.

5. Add some soy sauce.

Add a splash of soy sauce to the noodles after they are cooked for a lot of flavor.

6. Make with Coconut Milk instead of water

Instead of boiling the ramen in just water, create a mixture of coconut milk, fish sauce and curry paste. This will create a thick and rich Thai version of ramen.

7. Add Chili Sauce for a unique kick

Mix in some garlic, onion, bell peppers, and mushrooms in some olive oil. Then mix those with some vinegar in soy sauce. Soak the noodles in the mixture and then mix in all the vegetables. This will create a spicy version of the traditional ramen noodles.

8. Mix in some frozen vegetables

To create a healthier version of ramen, add some vegetables. Add some frozen peas, carrots, broccoli or your favorite vegetables three minutes before the noodles are done for a healthier meal

9. Ditch the broth entirely

Just before the noodles are done, strain out the broth and broil the noodles in the oven for a couple of minutes. This creates crunchier noodles and you can spice them up any way you want after that.

Add hot sauce, sriracha or whatever you want to literally spice up that ramen.
